iPad synchronisieren: Fehlermeldung "...You do not have enough privileges for this operation."

Starting with FileMaker Go 12.0.7, FileMaker Go supports data protection.  Data protection is a feature available for compatible iOS devices that offers an extra layer of protection on top of file encryption and prevents an application running on a compromised iOS device from accessing files without first unlocking (providing the passcode) for the iOS device.
As part of data protection - a file in FileMaker Go, whether it is a FileMaker database or any other supported file type, that is stored with FileMaker Go cannot be accessed while:
  • The iOS device is locked with a passcode

  • The iOS device is booting / starting up

A valid passcode will need to be entered before files can be copied off the iOS device OR to the iOS device using File Sharing in iTunes.
To enable data protection on a compatible iOS device you need only enable the Passcode Lock feature.  Please refer to Apple's knowledge base for additional information on how to enable the Passcode Lock feature on your iOS device.
You can verify that data protection is working to protect your FileMaker Go data by following these steps:

  1. Make sure your iOS device is locked
  1. Connect your iOS device to a computer running iTunes
  1. Open iTunes and select your iOS device
  1. Under the "Apps" tab, find FileMaker Go in the "File Sharing" section.
  1. Attempt to drag a file stored within FileMaker Go on the device to your computer.
For example, attempting to drag a file off a iOS device that has data protection enabled will produce an error message similar to the following:
"<FileName.fmp12>" could not be copied because you do not have permission to see its contents."
Alternately, you can verify that Data protection is enabled because the text, "Data protection is enabled" will be visible near the bottom of the Passcode Lock screen (Settings > General > Passcode) on your iOS device.
Additional Notes:
Data protection is designed to prevent unauthorized files from being copied to your iOS device or copied from your iOS device.  However, data protection does not prevent unauthorized deletion of files from an iOS device.  With data protection enabled, it is still possible to delete a file from your iOS device that is connected to iTunes without first entering in a passcode.
